Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

Counter-Notification Process

If we remove material due to a DMCA Takedown Notice, the user who posted the material may submit a counter-notification. This allows the user to dispute the claim of infringement.

A valid counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and its location on the website before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or if outside the U.S., any judicial district where Ghezziagerskov Magazine may be found). You must also accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will send a copy to the original claimant. We may then restore the disputed material within 10-14 business days, unless the claimant files a court action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Ghezziagerskov Magazine maintains a policy of terminating user accounts that are repeat infringers of copyright. We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate accounts that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be infringing copyrighted material.
